Clipless Body Latch System for SCX6 Jeep

Do you want to never use body clips again? This clipless body latches bolts directly onto your Jeep with minimal modification to the truck (100% reversible). Please note that the front screw holes need the last little bit of plastic at the end pushed out (explained in install video, this is minor and does not affect the truck if you want to remove this upgrade. It snaps into the lower portion of the truck and allows for a secure hold on the body without using body clips. This system includes a front and rear latch. The front latch uses existing holes for the front radiator and lights. The rear using the existing structure to mount to. Simply press towards the center of the truck on the bottom of the latches and the body releases allowing you to open it up. When running trails or crawling rocks the latch stays secure and holds the body in place. Last two photos show where the clip engages on the lower portion of the truck. I performed FEA (simulation) on this design so I expect it to last a very long time barring any abuse. This part is resin printed in Formlabs Tough 2000 so it is closer in comparison to ABS than your typical 3D printed plastic. *Customer confirmed fitment for the aluminum Treal bumper mounts!

If the item is out of stock be sure to check towards the end of day (EST) as this is when I will typically update stock based on the days' successful prints and printer bandwidth. These are printed to order, which is the reason for the processing time.

If it breaks in the first 30 days after receiving it please reach out to me and I can work to replace it at a deeply discounted price. If it breaks anytime after that please reach out and I would be happy to help understand the failure and get you a discounted replacement. Since the design is two parts and if only one part breaks I will help you replace that single piece at a discounted rate.
