Are you tired of installing those body clips on your Losi DBXL 2.0 Electric or Gas? Well throw those in the bin and switch to this clipless hood latch! Never worry about body clips again with this unique latching design. This hood latch keeps your truck body secure, but allows easy access when needed. Designed to handle a reasonable amount of abuse this latch is made to last. If you are going to hit some massive jumps I do recommend installing the body clips for safety as these parts are still plastic and the truck does still weigh 25+lbs (I do not recommend picking up the truck by the body alone as that puts the entire weight of the truck into the latch and may break). The rest of the time use this simple system for a huge quality of life improvement! I performed FEA (simulation) on this design so I expect it to last a very long time barring any abuse. This part is resin printed in Formlabs Tough 2000 so it is closer in comparison to ABS than your typical 3D printed plastic. This design works with both the electric and gas versions of V2 and will fit a V1 although you'll likely need to create your own hinge. See photos for how it clips on the underside if you have any aftermarket modifications that may affect fitment.
